See what Liddy bought...

"There is onlyyou & your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are." Ernst Haas.

Liddy's weekend arrived & she took herself off for another driving lesson wherein she had a little trouble with her reverse parallel parking. No surprise. The parking spots over here are huge so you get a fair bit of leeway not possible on the mainland.

To revive her spirits she went & saw Young Victoria & bought herself a new camera ~ & very nice it is too ~

Which she promptly used to bug the rest of the household. I don't think my kitchen is terribly photogenic in the after dinner aftermath & I really, really hate being on the wrong side of the camera, which means not being the one pushing the shutter.

Ditz, on the other hand, was more than happy to pose

That's the Creative Gen T~shirt.

And see, I told you she did a great Death Stare! ☺

Cool! Well done Liddy! It's good to see a photo of you in your home - part of getting to know you! :0)

Look at you! You are so much more photogenic than I. And your hair is beautiful too...I will never grow mine out again.
I clicked on the top photo and saw the family photo. I have to admit that I laughed until I cried at the doll in the photo! Was it your last born?! :)

I can't parallel park *anything* ~ okay, maybe a plastic kids wagon.

(seriously. I never learned & attempts to teach myself have no gone well LOL)

You all look wonderful ~ death stares & all *grin*

I love your house ~ it's got character! Seriously ~ it looks like it's been loved, and I don't say that as an insult of some sort.. I say it as someone who has always lived in BORING boxes of houses. All the wood everywhere, the plants, the shells, that awesome looking arch-way thing.. love it!

Ditz's stare!!!! LOL!

When asked, "tell me something random about yourself" I always answer "I cannot parallel park."

Your girls look so much alike! Love the greens in your kitchen, too.

Ever since I've been trying how to learn my camera, I'm afraid I've become rather annoying to some of my friends...it doesn't help that I am totally miserable at portraits, and more than one of my subjects has declared an urgent need for Botox after seeing my finished product.

Hi Ganeida,
Wow, that death stare is enough to melt one's ♥, but she has a beautiful smile, too.
Blessings,

Ganeida,
What a beautiful little girl you have! Even the death stare is cute, and personally I think your kitchen looks better than mine in the after dinner mess state...but mine is considerably smaller so it shows mess more. Enjoy Liddy and her new camera!

Hi Ember. I'm painting the verandah & naturally I want to show off lol so there will be more pics.

Britwife: Ditz loved that dolly. Same child who killed off her imaginary friend when she tired of her. ☺ You obviously didn't click on my pic [thank you for that BTW] because photogenic I am not. ROFL

Molly: no, the house isn't boring but there are things I would never do again because it makes so much work to keep clean. Who knew spiders would like to nest in the grooves of the timber?! Dearest built it & he will be thrilled to know you love his arch. ☺

Seeking: I know!

Allison: Funny how everyone except us thinks our girls look alike. I guess we see the differences & others note the similarities. The green in my kitchen is lovely I agree.

Mr Bean: I believe it's been done already ~ & it was not Liddy who was the camera banit. I hear tell a small Bean was harrassing residents...

Jillian: Ditz can be very photogenic. Other times I wonder whose child she is. She has one of those very malleable faces.

Birbitt: We had a lot of kids. My one critea was the kitchen be big enough I wouldn't constantly trip over them ~ & it's still too small when everyone's home.

Spiders nesting could be a problem ~ especially given that you guys are prone to critters that can kill a person! :-o

Yep, I love the archway ~ I've never seen such a thing in any house and it's awesome!

Does Issi leave your plants alone? We can't have anything green & growing because they cats will try having it for lunch. I ever tried cacti with the same results ~ crazy felines!

OH!! That's plywood! I thought it was something really, really big that Ditz brought home!!

Ditz has a way cuter death stare than Patrick!

(Sorry, Patrick!)
